This project is a continuation of the Ask Citizen Voice project in addressing the problem of Zambian citizens, as a collective, not understanding citizenship as conferring on them the right to demand governance and public resource accountability. The project specifically aims to contribute to making the 2021 election a public resource management (PRM) accountability event by initiating and sustaining a widespread citizen conversation that interrogates PRM accountability in the country. The project primarily trains young people to be influencers on social media and community radio. The trained young people initiate and sustain informed conversations that seek to encourage citizens to ask targeted rights-based PRM questions of politicians during campaigns.
