Public advocacy on Zambia’s debt crisis

The objective of the project is to generate debate among Zambian youth across the country as a catalyst for engaging the broader population and demonstrate the increasing public demand for accountability from the government about Zambia’s debt crisis.

The project aims to achieve this objective through continuous message development and circulation around debt, hosting youth Insakas and social media Blitz. The project has held several Youth Insakas, in Lusaka (three), Kabwe, Kitwe and Chipata. In addition, a creative social media conversation around debt with up to date statistics for people to understand Zambia’s current debt level and engage with from an evidence-based perspective has continued to be published.
