Invitation for Bids – Project Logo Design

  1. Background
SPEAK UP GIRLS PROJECT is a project implemented by the Alliance for Community Action with support from the German Corporation for International Cooperation GmbH (GIZ).
SPEAK UP GIRLS PROJECT aims at improving conditions for digital media use in order to increase active political and social participation specifically by girls and women in two rural pilot regions of Zambia. This shall be achieved by developing and implementing non-formal educational offers for women and girls with different skills levels. During these courses, girls and women will learn about the basic rules for using social media (including, how to use smartphones, the internet and apps, how to handle personal data, etc.) and how to use citizen journalism to express their own perspectives on the social and/or political challenges they face. The training courses follow a rights-based approach and empower the girls and women to hold those in positions of responsibility accountable (for example, in the provision of services by public institutions such as schools and hospitals).
SPEAK UP GIRLS PROJECT, therefore, needs to develop promotional and visibility products to manage its public relations and publicise its scope of work and other activities to the general public, donor agencies and to create demand for these activities from members of the public, donors clients and partners.
