Access to Justice: Ask Youth Project
The ‘Access to Justice: Ask Youth Project’ is the latest project under our flagship ASK! Project! This initiative is funded by the European Union through the EDF II programme. The central idea of this project is to have more youths in rural areas, specifically; Isoka and Mpika districts of Muchinga Province apply for and access youth empowerment facilities with special emphasis on scholarships and education loans. It is hoped that at the end of this project, there will be increased actual applications by young people in Mpika and Isoka to access scholarships and educational loans as result increased understanding and participation in the relevant processes required for one to access these government empowerment tools. The ACA hopes that, ultimately, the work in the two districts can be used to as a reliable indicator of the challenges faced by youths across all rural areas in the country, especially those geographically isolated from the capital Lusaka.
Access to Justice: Ask Youth Project is implemented with the financial support of the European Union through the Zambian Governance Foundation.
